CHERRY ROUNDERS SESSION '99

Ya'll wanted more stupid music!! Here's the beginnings in case you missed it!
Whether you're trolling with it or actually enjoying it, here's everything:

THE ORIGINAL STUFF, 1999
The first instances of Cherry Rounders "back in the day" were never released in any form online until "The Early Recordings of Cherry Rounders" hit streaming in 2015. I don't really make much off of streaming, but around $40 a month does help with website/domain expenses for my real site. I also can hit up Temu or buy a few tacos for my family. Each month on the 20th I get a royalties deposit into paypal! Thanks guys! 99% of the revenue comes from one song, recorded in 2000.

This song, "I Eat Poop," has been recorded five times, the fifth variant being in 2005 at normal speed. That version is not included on the following youtube still that covers the main four variants recorded in different years/eras (2000, 2003, 2006, and 1999).

The original summer/fall was 1999 when this stuff started. The first pre-album recordings were on cassette while driving with friends. These recordings were under a "side project" of our real band. We were kidding. From this, that fall in the meantime, I used a wal-mart yamaha psr-220 keyboard and spawned Cherry Rounders at home. This was a pre-album I guess. It was a joke as well. It was really two nights of 11 recordings each ran through filters with the originals lost. The pretend album was called "I CAN D0 1T AL50" hiding the number 15 as well as the cover it parodies, Mechanical Animals by Marilyn Manson.

2000-2003 ERA, I EAT POOP, and EL PEE!
A remake of the song "Dung Nugget Meal" on the 1999 fake album became "I Eat Poop" in 2000. There were some other songs recorded this year in the same timeframe, mostly using Mixman Studio. When I learned of "Napster/File Sharing" the following year it shared every MP3 on my hard drive without me knowing it did that. A fanclub on Yahoo! from a guy named Patrick Skerret from Chicago, IL was formed. They more or less begged for an album, so I recorded one!

In 2003, El Pee was recorded and then never finished or released. It wasn't released until streaming in 2015, but was mailed out on CD-R to those who wanted a copy for free, in a total of 15 fans that asked, no matter the country. Since 2001 I've seen instances of "I Eat Poop" still mentioned on the internet any time in a blue moon that I checked, and it made me think I should keep going. I wasn't really happy with the old stuff. It was definitely weirdly funny to some, but I could have done better. More serious music people complained about the sped-up voice on all the tracks. Though it was a character, I tried to do an ep at least of real-speed songs. I only ended up recording "Nuttin Butt Luv 4 My Homiez" and I Eat Poop again in 2005. I also had a couple tracks in college "Elle Esse Dee" and "This Is Your Brain" that though I didn't do drugs were drug-related for the sake of being random. "This Is Your Brain" was just a bunch of YTMND fads in a song while "Elle Esse Dee" was phrases that began with the letters L.S.D. and didn't even have anything to do with the drug. I also recorded early stuff with my friend Will H for Cherry Brown before we did Will and Jerry.

THE LOST SAGA, 2006-2007
The time came for me to attempt something new. I wanted to take some songs I had and surround them with others to tell a story. What happened to it? You guessed right! I never finished it. It was slated to be four CDs and I still remember most of the plot. This is the first unfinished disc. I'm keeping it here because it holds some of the best renditions of old stupid songs! Since it was a made up character, and it was called "The Second Coming of Cherry Rounders," the beginning of the story starts with him returning and hitting a downward spiral ending in prison. Its all made to be funnier than it sounds, but after he gets out the actual "Second Coming" concert doesn't happen. It's just a mock "finding Jesus" song and no teacher part like written. He is in Mexico for a portion and some of those songs were tossed as well. I will get to searching for the scattered post-disc-one outtakes. This was all abandoned for years while one song still brought in a lot of love throughout said years.

When I put it on streaming in 2015 I neglected to check it for years because due to monthly fees being taken out of revenue I figured I ran out and it was done. Five or six years later I discovered I had $800 to withdrawel and was a little freaked out. Every month I make around $40 now and I reinvest in music and web stuff usually. This is motivation enough to more or less record a real one. No old songs will be remade since I've ran that into the ground. It's time for something like 30 new ones! This year hopefully I will be done. If not, then someday soon I hope! One of the big changes will be the homoeroticness for humor's sake. I was and am not gay nor am I out to offend this new generation of people because I've never had a problem with it, so I did homoerotic shit to irritate much like the Bloodhound Gang. It was mainly for gangsters jocks and certain friends. I may have ran it into the ground in the old days. Stay tuned for "Sex Poop and Rock & Roll" derived from 2023-2024 (and maybe beyond) recordings!!
